Arezzo
Arezzo is very near in our house vacations. It is the ideal city to visit in a day afoot.
To absolutely see the building of the Commune, the cathedral and the splendid Great Plaza, chosen by Roberto Benigni for his/her film You life is beautiful.

Casentino
This more valley to north of the others of the province of Arezzo boxed to the border with the Central Appennino has maintained in the time an unique relationship with the nature, the history and the spirituality.
This relationship in Casentino can still be felt walking for the suburbs of you Suck, Coop, Bibbiena, among the forests of the National Park or in the near sanctuaries of Camaldoli and the Verna

Valtiberina
The Valtiberina, the tall valley of the Tevere, half earth between Tuscany and Umbria mixes the best of the two regions

Perugia and Assisi
If traveling a bit doesn't waste yourself and your vacations we suggest a brief tour to Perugia, to Saint Maria of the Angels, and to Assisi.
You can see the Porziuncola of St. Francis and the imposing monastery in Assisi behind the Subasio Mountain.

Cortona
Cortona is in the South area of Arezzo province, in Valdichiana, near to the province of Perugia. Cortona dominates on the whole surrounding valley and from here near Umbria and the lake he/she is seen Trasimeno.
In the proximities of Cortona there are important villas and historical residences how Villa Thomas Aliotti, Villa Passerini and others.
You can also see the Trasimeno lake with the Isola Polvese and the Isola Maggiore two islands that can be reached with the ferries from Passignano on the Trasimeno and Castiglione del Lago.
